Hawks are rebuilding which means that they are not going to be trading away first round picks so easily and the seabs trade is horrible

Yeah I agree, I'd rather just keep those assets and let Seabrook play out his contract...hopefully there's another compliance buyout opportunity coming up. Seabrook can still be a physical body to clear out the forwards...he's just soooo slow. The reality is, he needs to truly understand how slow he is and adjust his game. He's not joining any rushes he should be playing prevent defense.




What do you think it would take? I'd be willing to trade AA...which especially CAR needs because they have the young talented wingers that don't play a 2-way game. AA can cover Aho's and Tuevo's mistakes on the defensive end. I'd be willing to give up the 1st and Chad Krys (or Ian Mitchell.) That's a lot for Carolina who has insane defensive depth and Faulk's back ended contract. I'd probably even eat a little of AA's contract, but nothing crazy OR take back Kruger which is $2.3M of money a budget team won't need to spend. BUT this is a TON to give up...more than any other team would. The Hawks are just this desperate.

Faulk plays almost as many offensive zone starts as Keith. Don't you want any defensemen, to go with all those forwards?

hawks need a defenseman that can score and/or is a big threat on the power play. Faulk would go perfect with that. so, nope. im good with faulk.
