This is Chicago, one of the big organizations, 21 mil in unused cap space, 12 picks in 1st 2 rounds of the next 3 drafts and theyre marching out that lineup? I'd cancel my season tickets.

This is the flow of the NHL, Chicago pushed to be a cup contender for 10 years. As a fan it sucks that there haven't been many "important" hockey games the last handful of years but help is coming in the form of prospects. You mentioned all the draft picks still to come.. Chicago probably looks for another top 10 pick this year and starts spending on free agents the summer of 2025. The product on the ice isnt there yet, but there is lots to be excited about as a Chicago Fan.

Hawks aren't spending a 2nd on Pelletier or paying him $2.5m. What has he ever done to deserve anything close to that? No thanks on Barre Boulet. Hawks won't target him at all either. Roy on a 2 year deal gets at least $6m per. Probably costs Chicago $7m at least. And why give up picks to get Kunin and then not play him? This whole thing is really bad.
