    Edmonton doesn't want Chychrun, they have Nurse and Ekholm anchoring their LHD corps. They'll spend their assets elsewhere.

    You can't make a trade conditional on a player (Chychrun) resigning with the new team anymore. It's been like that for several years already.

    Forsberg might be an acceptable cap balancing add in a bigger deal since he only has 1 year left on his contract but that's about it. Nobody will be paying anything for him especially not without retention and particularly not a team like Calgary that needs to move a goalie out.
