That offer for Jake Guentzel is nowhere near what Kyle Dubas is seeking for him, Axel Sandin Pellikka is a blue chip prospect and our future Erik Karlsson he's pretty much untouchable for an aging winger. besides Detroit won't be able to afford Guentzel without moving out more expensive players like Copp and perhaps Holl and that's just not happening. Perhaps with $2,000,000 retained Detroit might be interested in bringing homeboy Bryan Rust home.

This sucks for Detroit.
A) Guentzel doesn't even get Pellikka himself, let alone a hefty add
B) If Holl could fetch anything, Detroit would just do that trade themselves
