Description

EP40 and Hronek are going to get paid and signed to max deals and we're going to need to move some salary out to bring in players in areas that we need more help. Kuzy and Garland have to go, and we need a legit 2C if we're going to keep the Lotto Line together. Some defensive help with Dylan Demelo as a UFA, and resigning the twin towers in Zadorov and Meyers.

We also need to start giving the younger guys a shot at playing. Other teams do it better than us. Lekkerimaki, Linus Karlsson and Arshdeep Bains deserve a place.

That's the thing with UFAs, if you don't do it, someone else will. Garland's play this year is exactly why we need to trade him. You don't pay a 3rd liner almost $5M/year, you just don't. Let's sell high on him.

I don’t see the Hawks trading a 2nd round pick for a player Vancouver’s own coach likes to sit on a regular basis. Especially when that player makes $5.5m per season.

Sorry, should have been more clear. I don't care if it's Chicago, he just has to go. I chose them because they have cap room and I wanted our 2nd rounder back. Where he goes doesn't matter.
