Dont understand line combos other than that interesting stuff

The ottawa trade feels a little expensive for a guy who hasnt played all season and a guy who has disappointed all season. I like Pinto but thats a high price for a win now team.

Also no Tinordi, there are better options and thats too much for him

Jones and Lamb are fine prospects. But I don't see CHI having any interest in acquiring Rempe or an LHD, probably not much interest in Lamb, if any. Nor do I see them being willing to move an RD right now, and Crevier has showed a lot of promise.

Ottawa declines with little to no hesitation.

To add to this: He wasn't available when they were in a cap crunch. Since then, the owner has attended games where fans were chanting for Pinto (even in blowout wins). Owner took a run at the league for suspending Pinto. Pinto will now be cheaper! And they've added a big Pinto fan in the front office (Dave Poulin, based on his many morning interviews on TSN1200). Alfie was even working with Pinto before he joined the coaching staff.

It will take a massive overpayment to get the Pinto out of Ottawa. I'd argue Norris is more available than Pinto.
