I doubt Edmonton does that trade, and the caps definitely don't do that Chabot trade. Term on those 8 year deals is way too long for our RFAs - they definitely wouldn't take those deals, but shorter term means the AAV you have listed is pretty close or a little high for most of them, so they'll be affordable. Don't need Tarasenko - would rather go after Nylander or Reinhart with the cap space available. I'd also way rather trade away Kuemper instead of Lindgren.

Hawks decline. Milano isn't a top line player. He doesn't have near that sort of skill. And the Hawks have plenty of mediocre middle 6 options.

Milano is not worth a 3rd round pick. WSH might get a 5th for him, if they're lucky.
