I cannot see Carolina trading Kochetkov, he's clearly the goalie of the future and one of the most puzzling moves of this past off season was bringing back both Raanta and Anderson and not having him in the NHL full time.

Nothing completely out of touch in your proposals. Just some opinions:

(1) I think Dvorak will get some ice time when he comes back and garner sufficient value for the Habs to allow them to get a 5th rounder-ish without salary retention. I even believe they might keep him all year and only move him next year at the deadline.

(2) Not sure we need to add a 3rd round pick. If he has one year left on his contract, he might be picked up on waivers.

(3) This is the one trade I think the Habs will not make. Especially the 1st round pick. The Habs are in rebuild for the next 2-3 years, and not getting a 31 year old with high AAV at this point.

(4) A full 2023-2024 season for all players included will put those respective values into more precise value focus.

Kochetkov isn't going anywhere, obviously he's the goalie of the future, dude maybe thought he's available because the Canes weirdly decided to play him in the AHL this year instead of the NHL like he deserves.
