I’m not sure Columbus parts with Sillinger (could be wrong here), but I like the long term thinking here. Personally think we should give Garand a big chance to see if he can take over for Shesty (not trying to pay him $9.5 mil plus for 8 years).

Unfortunately, Columbus cannot afford that contract, and he simply won’t get the power play time on a team that already has Gaudreau and Laine. Since Kreider is a PP merchant, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

I think with fantilli add Sillinger likely gets move anyway. But shesterkin is the goalie who can care a whole team if need be and those don't grow on trees. With how much the caps supposed to go up my preferred contract for shesty would be 8x8 but I'll take 9.5x8
