Windy, my boy, Skinner may very well be a nice long term goalie. But yes, the rest are scraps. Could be hard to turn down a first, Skinner and another solid prospect.

If elite goalies aren't worth much as everyone likes to tell Jet fans. Then Skinner is almost worthless.

But a first is a good start, Skinner would need to be a part of it, but there would need to be a pretty good prospect as well, which Edmonton doesn't have.

Agreed, he's a stallion. But, Helly isn't doing the Jets any favors with $9.5M floating around. A lot of teams would see him as a rental. Maybe that bodes well for the Jets though and he re-signs for less. Seems like the Jets want to keep going for it.
