When will people understand that the ducks don’t need to take on any cap to reach the cap floor? I mean it’s a very simple concept a lot of users seem to not understand.

Let's do some high-level math:

Anaheim is within $8.1 million of the cap floor.

Anaheim has 7 -- count 'em, SEVEN -- roster spots open.

That means that if every single one of the open roster slots were filled by a player getting $1.2 million AAV, Anaheim wouldn't need any help whatsoever getting to the cap floor.

Now, just out of curiosity, how much do you think that Trevor Zegras' next contract is going to be worth? Or Troy Terry's?
