This team is ugly. But that was by design and now they have the face of their franchise for next decade and a half. Now is the time to start moving towards contention. Start adding some value players now and by next year or the year after start pushing towards he playoffs.

Weakness: the entire active roster

The idea behind the moves I made is not what the fans will want but what I think the organization will go for. They still want to be at the bottom for at least another year and land another hopeful elite talent at next years draft, however I think they need to show Bedard that they are building toward something and this won’t just be a waste year for him. My plan here was to make a competent top line that won’t be amazing but can at least hang around. My thought here is similar to what the Devils had 2 years ago while Jack Hughes was still a baby. His linemates on the top line were Sharangovich and Janne Kuokkanen and somehow that line worked. I think this top line can prove to work similarly. Additionally they add Soucy just start adding some players they might see as part of the solution to begin turning the corner.

My prediction: 8th in the Central

Again, like every other age I’ve done in this series I put a lot of thought into every move made so if there’s something you don’t like let’s have a conversation about it because I will never pretend to know more than the fans of any team outside of the devils haha.
