Kyle Davidson had already said he's not addressing goaltending via trade or free agency this off-season. I could see a trade for Murray with Toronto but that's due to acquiring additional draft capital.

I feel like many are bailing on Sharangovich a year too early. We have $6m cap space, two more years of control on Yegor. If we need the roster spot, move out Boqvist.

Soderblom had 2 years of professional hockey under his belt before he even came to North America. The front office is pretty high on him, he has paid his dues, and had some pretty good showings in his limited time in the NHL, he has earned his spot. Also, Mrazek has tons of experience and they really like him in the locker room. They'll let him finish out his contract before they bring anyone else in, and they are pretty satisfied with their pipeline as it currently stands. So, CHI doesn't really "have goaltending issues" they have developing goaltenders and a stop-gap veteran. They will be just fine in net even if someone gets hurt.

Don't know why either. Dude had a solid year as a middle 6 forward. I'd keep him.
