And they aren't getting two goal tenders from Buffalo for Gibson, I'd argue they wouldn't want either of those guys in that trade and would instead look to find a stop gap UFA that they can plug in beside Dostal for a year or two.

Trading Benoit is a mistake because Zellweger will spend the season in the AHL. He's no where close to ready to play in the defensive end in the NHL. Kid tears up the O-zone already though.

Really like the Holl signing. I think he'd be a nice fit and that's a good contract for him.

I wouldn't trade for any one of those 5 players. I'd grudgingly go along with @LosPatos with Comtois for Fabbro. @CHAR is right that Holl is a bright idea. I'm always giving Troy 7 years.
