This capfriendly narrative of the Leafs trading a 1st with Murray to trade down needs to stop. That was a Dubas idea with Mrazek and it was a completely different situation. It doesn’t make any sense for Toronto to be doing that.

I like the idea of Boeser to Anaheim to play with their young centres, it’s a great fit actually. But he’s not a cap dump by any means and he has positive value. I think Vancouver is looking for young centres and that’ll be the ask for him. Something more like Boeser for Lundestrom and 1 of the 59th, 60th, or 65th pick in this years draft making a lot of sense for both sides

I like that Henrique trade, but I’m starting think MacDermid buried a body for the Avs FO because I don’t understand how he continues to make the roster.
