Nowhere close to landing Helle. Toronto doesn't have anything that Winnipeg would need or want if moving Helle.

Won’t take a first to move Murray. His buyout is pretty cheap in 2023-24, it’s whether the Leafs want to conserve the $2M the following year and a 1st is an overpay for that. Cap should be going up, anyway, but the Isles’ 3rd in 2024 would be as far as I’d go with that, and maybe an exchange of ancillary pieces.

Nylander for Hellebuyck absolutely makes no sense, Both are going to command around the 8 x $9,000,000 per range if not more. Both only have one more yer left until free agency. If Winnipeg moves Hellebuyck then they're more or less heading for a rebuild so adding Nylander makes zero sense.

If stats mean anything.....Samsonov had better stats than Hellybuck in the season and playoff, so how much improvement would there be in net for the Leafs.
The trade is fair one but don't see it benefitting the Leafs. I'm sure the Jets are hoping many playoff contenders have injuries so they can trade their UFAs by TDL including Hellebyuck.
