Some changes

Ain't no way Sequin waives for Montreal. Vancouver doesn't get much in that trade for a high first rounder. Jets trade seem OK but maybe Jets like it better if Dvorak was excluded.

Canucks easily decline. Edmundson isn't good and doesn't fit our needs, and Ylonen isn't worth anything close to the jump from a 3rd to a mid-to-high 1st.

Seguin probably won't, but I think it's an interesting trade to pursue for both teams.

Nucks are technically built for playoffs, but their defense sucks ass and goaltending has been subpar this year. Edmundson would be a fit imo. We've seen the value of bottom-4 D-men recently, it is around a first round pick, and Hughes is notoriously known for being good in maximizing the value of his assets.

I reckon Jets would like to have some NHL level asset going back their way. They do perceive themselves a playoff team after all.

No D in the Nucks are "good" in terms of defense, but by definition Nucks doesn't have a D-man like Edmundson, namely a LHD that is considered to be defensively responsible (despite having pretty subpar numbers this year).

The value of bottom-4 D-men has been around a first in the market for two years now. I think Edmundson, despite his shortcomings this year, does belong in this threshold.
