Not a move Columbus should be making imo. I would not want to move Cuelamens yet. Unless we know for sure that Boqvist can stay healthy(and play defence), Peeke is more then just a 3rd pair guy, Blankenburg can stay healthy and produce or Gudbranson, okay he sucks and can go anytime. I still believe that Cuelamens could be better then all the RHD we have outside of Jiricek and having those 2 as a 1-2 on the right side is the way to go.

Yeah I agree. Elvis probably does need a change of scenery at this point to salvage his career, but if it takes adding to move him I'd rather see them send out picks in 2024 onward than any of their current good young players. They're also in a position where they can simply afford to sit on Elvis for 2 or 3 years until his contract becomes more tradeable or more palatable for a buyout. Who knows? He might even turn it around eventually with the team maturing and if he can stop putting so much pressure on himself to create a legacy to honor Kivi. Can't hurt to keep him around as a backup to Tarasov if he's a good presence in the locker room and they aren't hurting for cap space.
