Why does buffalo have a good future

I’m confused by the question. Did you look at their farm system and roster? Is this supposed to be rhetorical? Because it’s pretty clear the Sabres are gonna be really ****ing good in two years. Especially once Patrick Kane pulls a Claude Giroux and goes to Buffalo.

I think Kevin adams made some good draft picks and deals that could finally turn this team into a compeater

Maybe Buffalo agrees to take on Voracek to get one of the CBJ’s young right handed defenseman. Might have to send something back but it would be worth it to get someone like Andrew Peeke.

Considering Jiricek is in the system it’s worth a shot lol. Also worth mentioning if salary needs to go the other way that Girgensons played with Johnny Hockey in the USHL and can still produce in a fourth line role.

Not saying the Jackets would do this and it isn’t a rumor. Just speculation on my part given the fact they have Peeke, Boqvist, and Jiricek in the system and are also paying Erin Gudbranson way too much money.

Hmm... actually a really valid point. I'd be interested in that for sure. Peeke would be our 4th NHL RD but we could maybe move Dahlin back to the left.
