Description

This is the roster at the END OF THE SEASON!

This ACGM is under a few stipulations.

1. Ottawa wins the Andrei Kuzmenko sweep stakes and his skill and point production are able to translate to the NHL level. He also reunites with Zub.

2. Brannstrom puts it all together and breaks out cause he has the skill to do that while playing on the RD. He could have a career year playing next to Chabot.

3. Zaitsev is bough out and Murray ends up staying on LTIR after his career is ended by injury after another hit up high. Zaitsev is on LTIR cause if I buy someone else it deletes the entire farm system.

4. Ottawa wins out on Jake Livingstone and he signs a two year contract to play with the Senators next season along with JBD and Thompson on the right side.

Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson will be one of the top lines in the NHL and will drive the Sens offense.
Stutzle - Pinto - Kuzmenko will be a strong supporting line with each player capable of scoring 20+ goals and driving the play.
Joseph/Formenton - Grieg - Brown/Joseph will be a strong supporting line with a lot of tenacity and speed providing secondary scoring.
Kelly - Kastelic - Watson could have the potential to become an identitly line that could hit and is good defensively while also chipping in here and there.

Chabot - Brannstrom could be an otherwordly pairing if Brannstrom breaks out and plays consistently great each day and drives the offense. Would add a huge boost to an already great first line.

Sanderson - Zub would be a shutdown second pairing capable of some offense. Zub would be a great partner for Sanderson to help develop him.

Holden - Hamonic is the capable shutdown veteran third pairing.

Forsberg continues his elite play as Gustavson develops in behind him.

Also I heard somewhere that Savoie is not signing with the Oilers so please let me know if that is correct. This is also based on the Copp trade but I'm expecting Brown to have a career year beside Formenton/Joseph and Greig.

I mean if he has a 70-80 point year I could see a team giving up this much for him and it's not all that much different from the Andrew Copp trade and Brown is arguably that better player. Especially if Edmonton is really dead set on him and Ottawa has no reason to move him. But in most cases you're right.

oilers fwd group is fine they are not dead set on him. oilers issue is their defense. so they would not even be considering this.

also i think 70-80 points is a stretch. and the trade is not the same as copp at all Savoie is a great prospect killed it this year and was the top player on the NCAA champions.... Lavoie is a 2nd round pick that has started to play really well in the second half of his AHL season.

i dont think this team is good enough. relies too much on players that have proven nothing so far. i think this team needs to be surrounded by better veteran.
