Replacing Muzz and Shoring Up D

Montreal isn’t doing it for a pick in 2024. They said they prefer prospect, so there is no way they go for picks in 2024. Plus Montreal shouldn’t have any interest in Holl.

I doubt the Islanders would do that but... the other two trades are definitely doable. I would guess that Montreal would want a 1st closer to the upcoming draft but.... there are only so many picks available. They'll likely get an offer they like more from someone else.

The Lyubushkin acquisition probably makes that Chiarot trade far less important from a Leafs perspective and I wouldn't do it just to play him on the bottom pair.

I absolutely LOVE that top four D though. Unlikely but... nice work.

I feel like the pick in 2024 might be more valuable. Idk how great a prospect you're getting back for Chiarot. I'm assuming probably mid level.

Isles pass, they don't need to unload Mayfield, and certainly not for a couple of fringe guys and a 3rd.

I don't think Chiarot is enough of an upgrade over Holl to move a 1st for him.

Why are you paying half as much for mayfield when hes easily 10x better than chariot?
