Florida is looking to move Tippet for win now talent, no way they take on the White contract. Also no team is taking on Zaitsev for free either

No problem on White until 22/23, when the Panthers have $5.5ish mil to sign half a dozen or so players (That's before taking on White). Maybe in the offseason if you took Hornqvist, but the Panthers aren't really in a position to take on even a small amount of money right now, without sending a bunch out (Which is a potential Chychrun trade would have to include someone like Hornqvist...)

Ottawa could be interested in Tippett but NO CHANCE they retain $2,375,000 on White's contract who has 3 years left after this season

White at 2.375 AAV would be a heck of a bargain so why would they want to trade him then? They'll keep Thomas Chabot best friend who also is very appreciated by everyone in the organization

If Tippett doesn't take a MAJOR step in development, this trade makes you look like a dumb GM.

Maybe the OP retained after your post but White's contract at 50% makes him very valuable.
