As you can see, we don't need a 11th Dman, let alone a 7th LD in our logjam of defenseman who have all gotten ice time this season even before COVID and injuries. ON TOP OF THAT we will not concede a FIRST ROUND PICK for our 11th NHL capable defenseman. Next, look at the Rangers center depth. Filip Chytil who think at this point we can say is a bust and Morgan Barron, a rookie who shows some promise, but still a rookie. Don't you think the Rangers would be more inclined to spend their first on a center like Hertl? Or even to make you crazy Habs fans happy we can do a trade for Toffoli since we also need a RW who can score!

good luck, habs fans are concinced that because Holland is dumb enough to give up a 1st for chariot that every single team they can label as a contender wants to over pay for a guy who wouldnt be a top 4 defender on a team that wasnt trying to win the lotto

Yeah, the oilers are gonna do a whole bunch of dumb stuff and then everyone will blame mcdavid not being good enough defensively again. It's gonna be great.

Even though we do have a ton of solid prospects in the system, I do believe we need a reliable veteran on the left side. However we can get one that wont cost us a first round pick. As Ive suggested in other posts that a solid option is Calvin De Haan.
