I think your Scheifele trade is spot on too, despite what others have commented on CapFriendly for similar trade proposals.

Vatrano back at $2.1M/3yrs. would be great, but also highly unlikely IMO. Instead, I think the Rangers stick it out with Reaves/Hunt alternating on the 4th line this season.</div></div>

I think it would be smart to lock up dobson long term. Kid is special. Honestly thought abt giving him 8 years. Palmieri purely a financial decision. I think w all these additions it puts the islanders in a better spot then banking on a guy who put up like 30 points last year

Disagree. Abt 4 million+ dollars separates the 2 and debrincat is what barzal desperately needs. Doubt wahlstrom, raty, or whoever goes at whatever pick they have puts up the production of debrincat within the next 3 years. If the isles don't win something soon, barzal is not gonna stay.

You're missing one fairly large difference between the PLD and Fiala situations. Minnesota had no choice other than trading Fiala as they didn't have the cap space. Winnipeg isn't being forced to move Dubois now.</div></div>
I don't think WPG has much leverage. I don't think he wants to play there from what I've heard
