I really think the perception of kosk is way off. Oilers can’t just trade him and reinvest the money elsewhere they need someone to back up smith who is 39 years old. If a deal was to be made like this kosk would be the starter on this roster without question. He’s really not nearly as bad as he’s made out to be on this site.

Presuming he would play about 80 games in a season that comes to 24 goals and 54 pts.
That is just about equal to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins life time production, IMO that alone is a first, second and third value.
