Jones is not as good as you think.

Also, are Voracek and JVR that bad??? I can't help but feel like JVR is a great 2nd line LW and PP guy on ANY team. Maybe 5-6M cap would be better than 7M but he is still good.

I'm not sure a 2nd is enough to get them to take Jake and I'd rather have him over JVR tbh. Just let them take JVR for free and keep Voracek

Was hart on the roster for enough games his first season that the deal proposed would take him direct to UFA without buying out any UFA years? I’m pretty sure he was. Bump it down to three so he’s still an RFA.

Both good players, the reason to pay to move Jake in theory would be because he has a much bigger contract than JVR for close to the same level of play. I think Seattle would take JVR without compensation

Pass from the Blues. He looks like he's completely missed his window to turn into a full time NHL'r. Would rather bring someone up than pay for him. You'd be lucky to have his kick the tires and offer a 7th for him.
