The Detroit trade is the most likely to fail, but it's still a good one. Give up a good player, a good prospect and two draft picks for Mantha. I've went this route since there are talks that Bergevin is discussing bringing in Mantha, so dunno what's planned but...

In Winnipeg, we're sending two proven Centermen that want out of MTL, a solid RFA in Hudon, and a proven Defensman that doesn't cost much, plus 2 second round pick and a fourth for Laine who as complained and wants out of Winnipeg.

Calgary needs a solid left winger, Drouin is just that. We're getting two prospects and a first draft pick. We're giving a 2nd rounder and two 5's.

I'd pass on Kovalchuk, get Brassard, Marron and Hoffman. for the front end. Solidifies our scoring power, while providing a good experience centerman to help our young guns then a winger that is a great addition to the team.

Sign a few of our young defensemen, and brin gthem up. Ouellet showed promise, Mete while had an ok year, is still experienced and ready, and Juulsen needs his chance. Romanov is a shoe in from what we heard, so..

Next year, 28M$ in space to sign Laine, Gallagher, KK and bring in other players.
