Description

Lose lottery but honestly Rangers need a center more than a LW at this point so trade up to get Byfield/Rossi would be ideal. Especially since picks 3,4,5 could all use a goalie and LA is rumored Stutzle at 2.
Think they sign Deangelo to 1 year Arb and revisit next offseason. Possibly trade if Nils comes over
Trade Strome Straight up for a LHD with 1 or 2 years left and similar contract.
Buyout Staal or trade him with picks for cap dump

OTT doesn't need Georgiev or Rykov in the slightest. They decline easily.

But Oleksiak for Strome seems nice from DAL perspective. They'll take it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the NYR don't have the 9th or 10th pick. Aren't they like 16th?. Only way of them going that high is Chicago, MTL, and all the other teams ahead of them winning their play in series. I'm gonna say its unlikely that every single lower seed wins
