LEAFS AND DUBAS FINALLY ACQUIRE BENNETT AT DRAFT

I seriously don't understand the interest in Bennett, especially for someone like Mango.

Bennett seems to be a downgrade
- on pace for 21 points
- only plays 13 minutes a night
- barely a positive possession player (51.6% CF)
- starts 52% of the time in the D Zone
- Hey! I share a birthday with Bennett.

Johnsson
- on pace for 40 points (if he didn't get injured)
- plays 16 minutes per night
- Johnsson has a 54% CF, one of the better Leafs possession players
- ^ could be in part to the 57% offensive zone starts
- I guess Bennett is cheaper and younger (but you forgot to account for a potential rise in cap)

Definitely a fair trade. Maybe what the players and teams would like to do.

I really have no idea why anyone wants to give up anything of value for Bennett, he hasnt improved since he was 19. He cant defend, he cant score and he's a poor skater.

If you really want to move Johnsson, move him for futures or package him for a defenceman. You can sign a centre of Bennett's calibre in the UFA market and make your roster stronger.
