A coaching change could lead to a huge turnaround. The Leafs are in a similar situation compared to the Penguins in the beginning of 2015-16. The good news is, Keefe wants to play a system which suits the players on this team. A system that focuses on north-south speed, transition and offensive zone possession which defenseman pinching. Very similar to Mike Sullivan. However, the issue with the Leafs is they don't like to forecheck and win the puck. When they lose it, they don't play with much intensity.

It's a good trade for both teams, get rid of the 3rd and 4th rnd picks and make the pick the 2020 2nd rnd

Dumping ceci and getting a decent backup and a little toughness are nice wants but this coaching change is far more important than all those things together x 10. Watch nylander Matthew's and barrie take off now wahoooooooo!!!!!!!
