Next Year with Staal and Kreider

Yeah but your supposed to name exactly who it is you are trading for in these trades so we can automatically overreact and say your overvaluing your players......don't you know how this works?.. sheesh.

I can't get my around all these suggestions about Kreider being traded to (partially NTC) or signing with the Oilers.
An American from Massechuttes, who lived on US east coast....signing with Oilers. It seems so far fetched to me.

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, players move around all the time. Edmonton employs Americans, Canadians, Swedes, Finns, Russians, a German, a Czech, a Slovak, a Swiss and a Dane. Nothing weird about signing Kreider at all. You just need a broader outlook.

What???? Sure would be weird if Kreider signed a UFA contract with the Oilers. Broader outlook? You need a realistic outlook.. All but three of the Oilers are there because they signed contracts to be part of the NHL...they had no choice. The only three UFA Oiler signings are Jurco, Smith and Koshinen. For the reasons I gave earlier ...I would think it highly unlikely that Kreider would sign with the Oilers. Sure Oilers might offer a contract but doubtful if Kreider would sign unless an overpayment by Oilers.
