Don't see CGY moving Monahan. Plus he's at a very good price. On the other hand, Point is one of the best young centerman so yeah... idk

I'd love to see Point on the Wild, but realistically the price is Dumba and I can't see us trading Dumba.

As for Calgary, yeah I'd bet Monahan or Tkachuk (possibly with additional pieces) would be the ask for the Bolts.

If Tampa can't get a hometown discount .. they can trade for 1 ... not a bad approach if they get 2 top 9 forwards and free up cap for 2020 .. again I like Point alot so more theoretical .. I think .. other Point trade ideas?

I think the Flames would do this trade in a heartbeat, Monahan needs Gaudreau in order to be a factor, Point is a better 200ft player and can drive play

Tampa could get something better then an expiring Frolik(Fro is still pretty decent though) with Monahan for Point, doubt Tampa would have to send Joseph either.
