Description

- Offer sheet for Marner (rumored CBJ want 7 years, Marner wants 5; split and go with 6)
- Trade Bjorkstrand for Johnson + mid-round pick (helps TBL shed $2.5m per season while giving them another 30 goal threat, CBJ fills center need by giving up wing depth)
- Werenski for Connor -- gives CBJ a 1LW to pair with Dubois and Marner, keeps defensive depth intact
- Trade Wennberg to get under cap
- Could buy out Dubinsky or trade Nash to get breathing room under cap
- Texier/Bemström start in AHL, develop chemistry, become cost-effective options in 2020-21

Alternative would be keeping Werenski and instead packaging Murray + Bjorkstrand for a 1B center + starting Texier at 2/3LW, which probably makes more sense, I just have no clue who that center would be.
