Making Gardiner Work

This would work for this year, but we would be screwed next year when we need to re-sign Morrissey. Also we have a ton of LHD prospects who probably will be ready next year (Samberg, Stanley, Heinola). I’d rather go for a rental RHD like Hamonic who would fit next to Morrissey.

Gardiner doesn’t work, could have bought chiarot, or Myers and chose to let them walk, jets filling from with in with possibly a vet min or two to fill out the roster. Jets took some hits, but they are going to be just fine, might be a step back year, but they have been running with one of the younger teams in the league last few years, which is going to help to get through this year.

Perrault for a 3rd (to some team that doesn’t want/need him)....seems to be on everyone of these from WPG fans.

There is not a market for Perrault at his salary. Either retain, or other another asset along with him. Otherwise no one will bite.

IMO, Gardiner for seven years doesn't work out at all for any team. Just keep Kulivov for a year and trade Perrault if necessary.
