Honestly. As a Hawks fan...I dont even want to do it straight up. I've watched Serg play a bunch. I CAN'T say I watch him nearly as much as I watch the Hawks. I just dont think his ceiling is nearly as high as it once was. Yeah yeah ease him into it...and TBL doesnt really need him to be more right now. It's just that Serg's value is still entirely based off his draft slot. NOT 1 person can say it's based on his NHL resume. His NHL resume is bluntly...unimpressive. Serg does NOT stink. I'm not dumb. He's quite valuable! It's just such a weird trade. Neither team should do it. It feels like a lose lose trade

EDIT: Sorry, that's not helpful. Jokiharju should be in the NHL right now, but management wants to give some of our other defensemen a chance to be rotated through. He's been very good for us this year and I don't think it's smart to trade a guy so young and undeveloped. That goes for both teams. So I think the value is good, but neither team, (the Hawks especially) should want to do this

Serg seems a little slow, decision wise too. My money is on Joki having a better career, with Serg being almost as good. Flip a coin??? Your R & L D arguments for these two teams are bang on though. Just a thought, TBL are in need of a couple of rD next year and have a handful of valuable F prospects.

I don't understand why you would trade a 19 year old who has NHL experience and has been ripping up the AHL. Sure you have other prospects but this guy is more proven than they are.
