Liligren is not even close to being a bust what are you talking about lul. He is only 21 years old. A prospect is a bust when they turn 25 and have not seen a single game in the NHL or have not improved at all. Liligren has improved year after year and has started showing a more 2-way orientated playstyle. Tampa has demonstrated time and time again when you properly develop a prospect through time and patience they will be a force to be reckoned with. The main reason he aint playing rn is Keefe and Dubas dont want to rush his development and rn he is on the right course and only needs 1 more year before we see him on the team in 2021-2022

I'll accept your assumption that Larsson would be an upgrade (not sure it is but I'll play ball). He's more expensive and on an expiring deal. Whereas, Holl has three more years of control at a very reasonable price, even if he's a 6/7 D going forward. I would also like to mention that Holl spent almost an entire season in the press box in 2018-19 and really only had his first full year last year and was fairly dependable defensively. I'm personally excited that there is a decent amount of depth on the Leafs blue line and lots of competition for the 4,5,6 spots. I think the only potential moves we would see before the season is if another GM has a stroke and offers a crazy tilted trade towards the Leafs or they don't make any other moves until closer to the trade deadline.</div></div>

Are you all seriously trying to argue there is even a slight chance Holl is better then Larsson. Larsson is clearly the better player. There is no argument there. ONLY argument is 4 mil cap hit. And IF the leafs wanted a better D for the playoffs, it would cost at least a second not this 3rd and 4th. Also, you are not trading Holl and Kerfoot to EDM. That was a completely separate transaction. EDM was the place holder team for the Seattle franchise. If you read the description the idea was making a deal with Seattle avoiding a better player getting plucked away. But I want to say this again, Larsson IS with out a doubt BETTER then Holl.
