Yet Another Chychrun Try
This might be the dumbest trade. CBJ has so many prospects. Play them. lol. Trading for overvalued D won’t help. I am sure Jakob is a good D. He hasn’t had a difference in 2 locations.

You wouldn’t Faulk leave ST. No offense, ST is a dump. I used to travel there for work. I was told not to spend time downtown after dark. San Jose is nice, it’s very nice.
If he is married and has kids, they will love it. He makes enough money. He will survive.

My last point about the Detroit trade, you don’t think Fabbrie would love an opportunity to play top 6 min and score 6 points and sign another big deal in UFA. Or get traded to a contender and play in the playoffs. On Detroit he plays bottom 6 min. He is as good as you think, let the man live and give I’m a better opportunity. Kasper can take his positions.

Hello, the team sucks. lol.
Forget about Kasper. I didn’t realize he was so important to the rebuild. He is a center, but Detroit just signed a bunch of centers. So I guess he will be stuck in the minors for a while. The trade seems like a win win, Detroit can sign the RD and LW they have, and San Jose can reach the cap floor.
Why wouldn’t Faulk leave ST. ST sucks, lol. I used to travel there for work, I was literally told not to spend time downtown after dark. I have traveled to a lot of cities, I have never been told that. San Jose is very nice. He makes enough money to survive there. If he is married and has kids, they will love it.
CBJ, I’m sorry your teams is terrible. You need to change the vibes in net and up front. You have enough prospects, if you not getting the #1 pick, I think its ok to trade it the get a better goalie. The metro isn’t falling off. The Caps made it this year, that should have been your spot. You have the horses, you just need better vibes.
Anyways, everyone enjoy your weekend.

fix this mess
The Boone trade allows two things to happen. Makes rooms for centers (There are so many in the system), and brings in some wing scoring. I think we can agree Boone isn’t a 4th line center, and I think we can agree we don’t want the guys talent on the 4th line. His value wont grow on the 4th line. You need to make room somewhere. And I know he is the captain, but he might be part of toxic environment. Or maybe with him leaving Johnny can take more of a leadership role and let it rip.
Gudbranson, I agree retaining money is never good, but you can’t have 4 right handed D playing at the same time. They drafted, traded for, and signed enough right handed D. Let him go. The team sucks. I don’t think any idea is bad at this point.

Trade DL 2023
Hey everyone,
Thanks for the comments.
1) I included Fast because I thought it would be good for him to get another opportunity for a contract.
2) I included Poolman because I think your losing a defenseman to free agency and if he plays well in the playoffs he could be flipped for more in the off-season. And the devils have some cap stop next year to I thought Beoser and Hughes would be fun.
3) Give Myers and Zaitsev a fresh start.

Couture is a good player and exactly what Buff needs. I vet with playoff experience who can provide second line scoring. I am sure his contract was found
You can't have a whole team with of prospects. Eventually they need to take there shot.

LA I understand, but why would WPG and CGY say no. These are great salary dump moves for them.

fix this team
I think they you might be able to get Girard out of there. They are loaded on the left side and I think they have a blue chip project coming up soon.
They have Cole, Zadorov, and Byram. The right side looks good as well. This could be Colorado's all in move.

Potential fix
Buffalo can flip Gorges for something. Playoffs teams always need bodies and Gorges can be one of those bodies.
The NYI are getting ride of a goalie they aren't going to resign and get a look at Lehner behind a real defence and some run support.
Scandella for Alnzer is straight across. Alnzer never gets hurt and that's what buffalo needs. Someone who will play every night.
MTL needs a #1 center. O'Reilly can be that center. He hasn't done anything in Buffalo and it will be good for him to get another fresh start. Same for Galchenyuk.
