FLA and NJ deals aren't bad, but the Buffalo deal is one sided: You're dumping Couture's salary on Buffalo, asking for their top Center Prospect and a 1st for spare parts. Their GM would be fired immediately. It's hard to do an ACGM for San Jose : I get it. They have a ton of bad contracts on aging players and very few teams have cap space to make anything happen.
