With the leafs things change in a heartbeat per transactions
Joey could be with the Marlies in the morning and the Leafs by this afternoon
They know how to save every bit of future cap space and do these mini transactions to maximize deadline cap space

I just wanted to apologize for my actions on this forum yesterday. Something serious came up in my family, and I was not in a good mental space and I took my anger, frustration and anxiety out on you guys on this forum.
Im very sorry for picking fights and being blatantly stubborn and disregarding all your points, and being horribly rude, especially towards A_habs_fan and mitchmarner_16. Im embarrassed to look back on my posts from yesterday and how rude they were (i also re-watched the hit, and you guys were very right.) From now on, I will be more polite and open to other opinions and not disregarding everyone else, and am looking forward to moving past this and getting into constructive, real discussions. Again, I am so, so sorry for being such a Jack*ss.</div></div>
It's okay, everyone has off days.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheBetterTkachuk</b></div><div>Thanks. I don’t know what came over me. I swear I am not that kind of person, but because of what went on yesterday morning, and my employment issues, I assume I wasn’t in a good headspace and I took it out on you guys. Sorry, again.
What bothers me is half the people I bet won’t even see my apology because I’ve been blocked by them, and I don’t blame them at all.</div></div>
Don't worry about people not seeing it, they may not see your post because they blocked you but they can see other people quoting it even if they blocked you, as long as someone else quotes it, they'll see it

No worries at all man, you’re all good. Hope everything’s okay with your family and job.

honestly stuff like that happens to the best of us. something arises, and we end up taking it out on the wrong people. so though i wasn’t in the arguments i don’t think (though i did see them), i say not to worry about it if you’re gonna be more constructive. and i hope that whatever’s happening within your family gets resolved as soon as possible :)

Thats what i try to say, but everyone just laughs
A lot of people dont understand the value of toughness in the playoffs, because it means a lot in terms of setting the tone for games and possibly the difference between winning and losing

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>yikes</b></div><div>Yeah but I mean that isn’t a problem with the personnel or an intentional aspect. I think it would have happened regardless of desire. The game has evolved. A player like E. Kane is a modern powerforward. He has to be fast and talented otherwise he’s relegated to Ryan Reaves type pay. You HAVE to be fast and talented now to keep up. Players are better, faster and more talented. Defence has become more dynamic. Goalies are actually amazing, and arguably the most important position. Now you can’t grind your way to winning record, or win a few rounds. You have to adapt. I don’t think Tkachuk’s are a dying breed because they’re very desirable assets. Just need more players who can blend talent and physicality</div></div>
Have to agree with this, you can't really be a one-dimensional player anymore and it's probably for the better. There are also a decent amount of players who blend skill and physicality

Bro come tf on... I'm not going to bag on Bergeron by any stretch, but he's not even the best all around player in the era that he's played in. First of all, Sidney Crosby is the best offensive player of the era while being well above average defensively in his own right. If anyone is the best all rounder of that era, it's him. He's also not a better all round player than Pavel Datsyuk, who is maybe the most disrespected superstar of the Cap era. He was every bit the defensive Allstar that Bergeron is, and he was drastically more skilled. And that's not even including guys like Ron Francis who played before that era.
