Personally I think you keep Eichel and get at least one young decent nhl player in a package for Hall. If you do move Eichel you need nhl assets back. Zary, and Pelletier, decent center and LW prospects.
2021 1st 2021 3rd and 2022 2nd three picks
I think this is your point.

I hate to get into row with fellow Sabre fans.
If the Sabres are shopping Jack, this is a good offer and one I really do not think another team would be able to top.
See my assessment above.
Hanifin and Välimäki fill the huge hole at LHD
Monahan will NEVER fit into Jacks skates, but would be the Sabres top center.
Zary, and Pelletier would be the Sabres best prospects after Quinn.
Final comment, Jack has played hurt and is currently out.
Replacing an ailing Eichel with healthy Hanifin, Monahan and Välimäki may lead to a better over all team with picks and prospects coming down the pipeline.

Here is the deal.
Okposo, when he is used on the fourth line, at $6,000,000 is over paid by $4,500,000 or even as much as $5,250,000 (presuming Lazar could do as well as he).
Personally, I think he still has the skills to be top six forward or at least a mid six.
At least Housley gave him some playing time with better forwards and he put up 14 goals (fifth best among the Sabres) and 29 pts.
Brilliant Krueger had him with Larsson and Girgensons 65% of the time and surprise surprise he only got 9 goals (BTW only Jack, Sam and Victor had more pt/min than Kyle last year).
Add Okposo to the list of Sabres who had career worse years under Krueger (Skinner, Vesey, Sheary, Rodrigues, Montour, Miller, Hutton et. al.).
Was Krueger hired to get a lower draft pick this year?
IDK what happened to Jones while just 5 years ago he was traded for a first and led the sharks to the finals.
If he is the third GK on the Sabres he is over paid by $5,750,000 for the next four years.
I read all of the comments and thought about this trade before responding as I thought it may be a good deal.
This is a VERY bad trade for Buffalo.
Give Okposo some better playing time with better line mates and he will only be over paid by $2,000,000 or less.
