Jusy FYI, Buch has 206 points since joining the Blues and 58 came on the PP (28%). He's closer to 1/4 than he is to 1/3.
But yeah, I can't imagine the Rangers would want to wntertain this.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Coachchippy</b></div><div>Real ones know that the last Chytil incident (the suspicious non-contact collapse) was a plot by the NYR to use the LTIR loophole. It's also very convenient that when he was leaving the ice, he was favoring one leg.
My guess is that he really did get hurt (I don't think Chytil would agree to stage a fake injury), but it was a leg/lower body issue, and not concussion related at all. And that the Rangers just said it was concussion related because a doctor can't say "he's recovered and isn't experiencing any symptoms" -- it's not something that can be determined physiologically. The only one who knows what concussion symptoms are present, is Chytil himself. Therefore, they managed to avoid attracting suspicion from the league. And a LBI that would take him out for weeks or months, just gives him more time to rest and recover and potentially use his cap space at the deadline.
So I wouldn't be surprised if he's back ~ the second round.</div></div>
LOL. Break out the tinfoil hat.

My only concern is that he doesn't rush his recovery and is honest with himself about the risks involved. The minute he steps on to the ice other teams are going to hit him just to see if he can take it, so he better be 100% sure he is ready to go. I would hate to see him seriously hurt just to try to play hockey again.

Exactly and that's why he's -10. It isn't his linemates either both of his two most common linemates have better plus/minus 0 and -5. Only one player on the entire team has a worse plus/minus.

Because 4th line centers with 9 points are so very valuable? A late 1st is a very reasonable price to eat 3.64 mil/yr for 3 years.

Is that so? That’s good then! I wasn’t sure.. haven’t done the cap gymnastics of his buyout. If I was you, I personally would like to hold onto him as much as possible, just so the buyout isn’t too too long, but if they need the money, they need the money.
Thanks for the information! Have a great one, both yourself, and <a href="/users/RussianRangers9" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@RussianRangers9</a>

Yes, unfortunately I think a buyout may be the only option. I could be wrong, but with his 15 team no trade list, that makes it pretty limited. That’s nearly half of the teams! He for sure would have all the bottom feeders on it, one would think.

There’s plenty of cap space there to keep him. You could even waive him to the minors to recoup space. Wait till next summer and buyout. While also keeping him as a back up for playoffs similar to TB and Tyler Johnson

If Chytil is done
If Chytil is done he goes on LTIR each season until his contract expires. If he retires his salary is voided and the Rangers won’t owe him a dime.
Marc Savard as an example …..

Don't think they will move Oshie even though thats a nice return (although a lot of money and two retention slots to eat, which would be impossible for them right now).
The only fit left for NYR I see is Pacioretty, would have to assume he would waive there given it's on the east coast and he's from CT. Could also see them being interested in taking Goodrow for a first too but probably not likely

Blues accept that and would even retain the full 50% on that deal. Would also throw in Sundqvist if NY needed new 4th line. I don't see Rangers offering all of that though.
