<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15a</b></div><div>You’re kidding yourself. Coleman and Pageau have multiple 20 goal seasons, Pageau 40 pts seasons. But hey leave it to MTL fans to take a piece of reporting by a reporter to hyper inflate their players value. And I’ll even give you credit, Goodrow isn’t better offensively I was influenced by his play with SJS against COL.</div></div>

LOL even with the 2 20 goal seasons that Coleman had he still doesn't put up much more offense than Lehkonen. I showed you above that over their careers they are within 0.05ppg which translates to 4 more points a season for Coleman over Lehkonen. Every player has up and down years, hence the reason we use career stats to compare players and PPG to compare value. We aren't comparing Lehkonen to Matthews here. You may have issue with Lehkonen cause you hate the Habs or whatever but the fact remains their career stats are directly comparable. BTW Pageau did not have multiple 20+ goal seasons he had a single 20 goal season. If you really want to get into the stats and use outlier stats to prove your point, I can flip that around and say that Lehkonen is more consistent than Pageau and Coleman in that his stats don't vary as much from year to year. Saying a guy like Pageau is more offensive based on 2 40 point seasons in an 11 year career is laughable those 2 seasons are outliers not the norm. Same as Coleman 2 out of 6 seasons he scored 20 goals again these seem to be the outlier not the norm, although with Coleman he is still young enough to make it the norm depending on how the rest of his career goes.
