You have very clear problems reading comprehension

- Morrissey has been a train wreck individually since trouba left. The only time he’s had solid results is next to demelo. Idk what’s hard to understand about that

- Larsson is a fine top 4, he’s not a top 2, which you suggested he was.

- Jake Gardiner has missed most of the year with injury. And is still a much better player than Hamonic. Seriously man Hamonic is washed af.

Yeah the org values Lowry heavily. He’ll be protected. They should’ve waited on that contract.

Copp is a huge part of this teams forward core. He wasn’t happy being taken to arbitration and always seeing a diminished role whenever he gets bounced from the top 6 when he’s play well. He’s a strong player. I’d keep him myself and wouldve prioritized him over lowry.

At a lower price, I do think this is the type of situation Yzerman should be extracting a good player from. He’d do wonders for the youth there.

The only insane thing is to believe he isn’t. He’s been a legit top 4 Dman statistically 3 seasons in a row. And by the eye test, he is great at what he does. I’m guessing you’re new to the sport? That’s ok if so. I’ll understand.

2. Again, at the deadline Maurice was playing Tucker Poolman top pairing minutes. Tucker Poolman.

3. Larsson is not better than Demelo but continue on, casual.

4. Not sure id want to "enough said" that comment after a huge step back of a year from Hughes, mostly because of Hamonic. but if youre that simple "Demelo played top pairing with Chabot, and now Morrissey. enough said."

6. Adam Larsson is not a #2. and if he were one, he would get alot more than $4M. so pick your poison cause it can't be both.

7. Demelo is a bonafide top 4. as already mentioned. But it's clear you don't understand how value or the cap works. paying $1M more for a player 3x as good as the $2M option you chose, is great asset management. Hell you spent $2M on a 4C that will play 6-7 minutes here. at best. talk about "too much" for a role

Few things on this:

1. You’re absolutely correct on Josh Morrissey looking like himself in the Edmonton series. But 4 games doesn’t change 2 years.

2. The fact he needs a partner that’s better than him, tells you he isn’t worth the top pairing money he’s paid. Which makes it unlikely Seattle takes him for 6 years at that price tag.

3. Morrissey coming around is directly correlated with him being paired with Demelo, who most are dumping aside. Time to put some respect on amelo@2 name around here.

There’s so much wrong here. Let’s dive in!

1. People were clamouring for a #1 RHD because Paul Maurice was on drugs and was playing Tucker Poolman on the top pair which is insane.

2. The two names that the Jets went after and didn’t land were Oleksiak and Gavrikov, both of which are LHD. Which makes sense! Short term they are actively playing Forbort and Stanley on the left side which isn’t good enough.

3. You talk about wanting a #1 RHD then sign a 2nd pairing guy in Larson. And bottom pairing guy in Hamonic

4. Have you watched Travis Hamonic play hockey in the last 3 years? He isn’t good and hasn’t been for sometime. I bet you’re a casual and recognize the name, but in no world is he better than Dylan demelo

5. Josh morrissey went from an absolute train wreck, to looking like he’s back the day Dylan Demelo was paired with him. I’m not sure math is your strong suit, but you can probably put 2 + 2 together here.

6. The Jets have two good #2-3’s on the Right side. It’s never been the issue. The left side and Paul Maurice’s usage of his defenders has been.

7. Dylan Demelo at $3M for the next 3 years is the most valuable defenceman in terms of value the team has. Absolutely insane moving him for nothing.
