This has every popular prospect that every fan knows, but then it gets a little weaker down at the bottom. Like I know there are 100 guys that would go ahead of like Jan Mysak but I put in so much time to this already that I couldnt do every teams top 20 then narrow it down again. Like I didnt put Graeme Clarke because I just forgot him but hed probably be in the low 200s or so too. This was mostly me finding a way to rank teams prospect pools

Also I had bad criteria. I just picked players who I thought didnt establush themselves as full time NHLers yet which is why I have Guenther and others here. They played a lot of NHL but got sent down at some point. Or they were up but didnt play consistently

Well Bettman says it will go up about 4.5m, so now you're looking about 88m. But Bettman has chronically lied about the cap, always optimistic, so who knows.

I doubt Chicago retains anything on any trade going forward. Not gonna comment on the trade because I can't see either team wanting to do that, but I find it hilarious that you want Dickinson at 4C and I've seen Chicago ACGMs starting him at 1C. Both opinions are valid, just wild the difference between the two teams right now.

I think letting Skjei and/or Teravainen walk, not signing Deangelo and using that money to get a true top 4 RHD makes more sense. I'm a big fan of Chatfield, but i'm a little skeptical of him being a long term solution for the 2nd pair, he's more of a great 3rd pair guy in my eyes.

Toronto media is often on their own program, results matter...lucky it's the summer because coverage on the Leafs is so confused about everything they have no clue where treiliving 's head is at, if it's not completely obvious they don't understand nuance in Toronto so whether they like something or not I don't really care...they often really loved Justin Holl and throw mud at fans for their opinions all the time....tree seems like a guy that isn't affected by opinions from the media.

Sujet: nylander trade

So, the issue for the Canes here is that they need another top 9 forward. Nylander is an upgrade on Teuvo, but it doesn't fix the Canes issues. I see the idea, but now Carolina's LHD situation with Brodie, Slavin, Skjei, Orlov... there's just not enough RHD and that does matter for the Canes, it's why they didn't go after Brodie when he was a free agent.

Also, the lines on here... like, you should get an infraction for 4th line Jarvis

Necas straight up has more value than Nylander. Jarvis was untouchable for better players than Nylander. Unless Nylander is coming with Knies, both are off the table

Carolina laugh at you. Ehlers would need to be someone like Kyle Connor for the Canes to consider this. Jarvis wasn't available for Timo Meier, who had team control when he expired. Ehlers has 2 years left but he's played 50 games once in the last 3 years. 92 points over the last 2 years, where Jarvis alone has 80. Plus, Jarvis is 21. This is REAL bad
