Look at what both teams need before making a trade</div></div>
I Picked the Ducks as more of a concept & should have made that more clear. I was aiming more for Value then anything

Current situation - clearly more moves are needed
Honestly I think if VAN can move the Eriksson contract for similar to what BOS did with Backes I don't think VAN fans can be to mad. Example: Eriksson @ 25% Retained, 2021 1st + B Prospect for a Top 9 Forward may not be great but it frees up 4.5m over the next 2 years. For what you hope costs a Mid/Late 1st & a Middle 6 Forward prospect

I’m on the fence, I think they would like to get out of e Sissons contract Kerfoot is Serviceable at a decent cap hit IMO for Nash it’s all about the long game. You don’t get “Worse” but you get out of 2 extra years of Sissons to have extra money to work with

Out of the 500+ Contracts in the NHL i would say only about 10-20 of them are "Team Friendly" like the Bad contracts out there looking back you might be able to tell 3-5 of those contracts would have been bad. Do you really think anyone know how quickly opinions turned from Bobrovsky signing being great for both sides to "contract are horrible for their teams"

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MG1986</b></div><div>I do think the Flyers and Leafs match up well for a draft day deal. I really believe the Leafs would like to get back into the first round of the draft, and they have some wingers to unload for some much needed defensive help. There are clearly some numbers that would have to be worked out here, and a cap that requires determining, but my thought on a deal with the Leafs and Flyers would be:
To Toronto: Scott Laughton, Travis Sanheim, Phillipe Myers and a 1st
To Philly: William Nylander, Kasperi Kapanen, Travis Dermott and a mid-level prospect, like SDA.
Thoughts?</div></div>
While I like the deal in general, I have a hard time thinking TOR will want to unload that much forward depth in one trade. Which in the same respect for PHI and defence

Naz i on Pace for his 2nd highest career points and at his career highest in PIM atm haha. Id say it was a win from the start IMO. Kerfoot + 3rd = Kadri alone IMO or pretty close to it. So as a leaf fan perspective TOR got Barrie for a Rosen which got traded for Hutch lol

I could be honestly. We will see in time i guess. However i see Kuokkanen as pretty close to Nylander in terms of development at the same timeframe This year for Koukkanen would be equal to Nylanders 2015-16 season. Next year we will tell if I Overvalued Kuokkanen i guess

ANA start the rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mytduxfan</b></div><div>Manson isn't getting moved and could net a better return than Trocheck + picks. CAR could offer more value, even if it were in picks in prospects. I'd do the Ceci deal, but don't see why TOR would.
What about your thoughts on Rakell to EDM instead? I proposed a deal around Bouchard + 1st + (small add) for Rakell. EDM needs help at W. I'd be willing to move Rakell if it netted us a legitimate RHD prospect with a top 4 D upside. I'd also move Rakell for Nils Lundkvist + 1st of the NYR. Too much value for Rakell?</div></div>
Id say so Bouchard is one of those A+ Prospects. Comparison IMO would be Sandin,Byram, Tippett, Brandstrom Ect those types of prospects by themselves net a Huge player on their own let alone another 1st ontop. Biggest trade comparison i could find would be the OTT-VGK Mark Stone Trade
OTT Traded: Mark Stone (With 8 Year extension) + Lindberg Whom was a throw in to make the contracts work
For VGK: Brandstrom (A+ Prospect) + Oscar Lindberg (Salary Dump) + 2nd Round pick.
If you breakdown that trade without the Salary dump you might be looking at a 3rd/4th instead of a 2nd
As for the NJD/TB trade for Coleman while Foote is a great prospect most people would see him as a B+/A- instead of an A+ IMO those A+ prospects are reserved for players with Top Pair/Line potential

You cant keep Hamilton on LTIR the entire season lmfao. Hamilton broke his leg in Mid-Late Jan. Timelines are 6-8 weeks bringing him back in Mid/Late March thus putting the canes 5.5m over the cap. Math is hard i know....

They have "5.5m" atm because Hamilton is in LTIR. You need to have space for him when he returns in the lineup. Only way to get around that is the "Kane Loophole" which he would have to be not able to return before April 8th (first day of playoffs)

Currently CAR only has 1m in cap space. they need to dump someone for cap space unfortunately the only player i see expendable if CAR is getting a Top 4 Dman is TVR/Edmundson and they already have great depth with Fluery & McKeown

I Hate to be "That guy" but multiple reports already have CAR offering Bean + 1st for Petry, If CAR wants to make a trade for a Top 4 Dman they need to cap dump someone. Only player on that list is either TVR/Edmundson CAR is to close to the cap in order to acquire ANYTHING without dumping someone. You currently have 1m in cap space before any trade is made. DAL trade is more of a "Idea" then a specific team

Panthers Loading up MIN NYR WPG
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Philu916</b></div><div>Here’s the thing with AG. Rangers have several goalies in the prospect line. AG, Igor are already up. Wall, Huska, Lindblom was just drafted round 2. Personally think Lindblom was a bad pick and nothing to do with his skill set since Allaire has proven his coaching style helps goalies. Rangers didn’t really have that need for a goalie but it may have been fear that Igor wouldn’t come here. That being said, if AG can bring back a very good trade, sorry but he’s gotta go. Hank has 1 more season and that is all. His cap hit sucks, but a buyout saves $3M and $2M of that goes to AG anyways followed by a $1.5m dead cap hit. AG has shown what he’s capable of and this NYR D as an entirety through out this season hasn’t been great. Even now, there’s defensive issues that lead to break aways. Igor faces 34-40 shots and allows 2-3 goals at times. That shouldn’t be happening. Should be facing 25 shots some games.
As far as this AG/Hank thing if Hank won’t waive, AG has to go if the return is a top 9 F.</div></div>
Realistically do you expect to get a proven Top 9 F for a #3 Goaltender? While yes Campbell is older by 4 years hes had WAY more NHL experience than Georgeiv. Campbell IMO being a proven Top 10 Backup in the league. Georgeiv while having more upside yes may leave NYR fans disappointed in the return for him. IMO i expect the return for Georgeiv to be a 22-25 Y/O Bot 6F 1 2/3rd round pick and a conditional 3rd
