Sujet: Domi trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Daredevil514</b></div><div>We dont need Jost, we could use a physical Dman like Zadarov but not at this price. The 1st is really not intersting, COL already is a great team and will become a firepower in the NHL, this pick will be like 25th. Even if the habs draft the right player, he would be ready in 2024-2025... If Domi is traded, its for immediate help or a soon to be ready very good prospect.</div></div>

What’s weird is I agree with you and disagree. From MTL pt of view it definitely seems like a quantity over quality trade. However I think Jost is a guy that blossoms given a regular shot at the top 6, I just don’t think MTL is that team with what they have in their system. From an Avs pt of view I think Domi is a little overrated. Yeah he had a 70pt season but he also had a career high shooting percentage that year and his next highest pt total is 54 where he had his 2nd highest shooting percentage ever, also for the Avs he isn’t getting PP1 minutes so how does that affect his production. Ultimately I think this is a trade better off not made.

As for the other items I don’t think Saegon ever gets an ELC, Burzan isn’t likely to get it this yr either. AJ Greer and Kamenev are almost assuredly gone, their time with the organization has run its course and they both want realistic shots at making NHL full time rosters and that isn’t happening in Colorado.

I do love the idea of both Timmins and Byram in the starting rotation, I just don’t think the Avs will do it.
