Dancing with the Flyers

Description
On the one hand, logic dictates that the Leafs would not make a trade like this within their own conference, where it could quite easily bite them in the rear if this dramatically improved the Flyers season.

On the other hand, the Flyers are under-performing, even by their standards. As for the Leafs, there is simply no way they will be able to resign JVR, Bozak and Komarov, and of the bunch, I think Komarov resigns.

This deal would look after the Leafs both now, and for the future. Although, Simmons is only signed for 2 more years, so there is no guarantee he would resign with Toronto.
