Pens get the better deal if you look at it player for player, but the cap space is the key to this for Chicago. Daley helps offensively, but he didn't fit in like most had hoped and his career possession #'s are horrible for a puck possession team like the Hawks. Scuds is SLOWWWWWWWW, but he'll be asked to play a simple game for 10 minutes a night. Every dollar Bowman can save is crucial at this point. Good deal for both teams.

Great to see some trades Yes! Happy for everyone involved. Players, teams, fans. Daley didn't fit and needed a change of scenery, Hawks NEED cap space. Even with $1M extra...something can happen. Who knows...maybe Scuds just needs less responsibility. I don't think he'll be mad at 6-8 min a game like Daley was. Hurray for everyone!
