**-By untouchable, i don't mean price is very high, i mean not being moved.
***-Cannot be traded until Jan 1 2019
Not unless we get something absolutely ridiculous.
Are you actually selling anything at the deadline then? Or is it just bottom6 / 3rd pair players that had probably been available the entire game.... or at least should have been.

We might do bigger stuff in the offseason ... right now we're mainly selling rentals, and also some other lower-line guys ... the only big-name player that we're very open to trading is Brassard.

Okay, if you decide you're willing to let go of Stone I could offer a package where you get a few assets. I could do Spooner + 2018 1st + Malcolm Subban + Ryan Lindgren. My thoughts behind this package was that Spooner plays best at RW, so he fills the void left by Stone. Subban is a better goalie than anything you have including prospects (I looked at them all). Lindgren would replace Phaneuf in a year or two with a similar physical DFD style. The 1st would help you get the other need you might have after using your own 1st. I'd assume a top C, a good RHD and a skilled scoring winger might be on your wish list via the draft. If you had the extra 1st you'd get 2 of those crossed off..... This is just something to think about, I'd be flexible about which players were in the deal, but it'd be working around the same value.

Yeah, i think we're probably keeping Stone for now. I doubt we move him in the offseason either. Spooner's good but i don't see him as a real top line RW. He's having a good year but it's just one year so i think he's more of a 2RW. That's a pretty good offer, but i still don't think it's gonna get us to move a potential superstar in Stone. Not saying he's a superstar, or even that he will become one, but he definitely could, whether he does or not. And he's a top line RW anyway.

Yeah he's definitely a 1st line RW and Spooner is a 2nd line RW, but that's why there were 3 more assets. I don't know if Stone would become a superstar, but I was thinking he'd be more physical and also score more. I think he'd be a much better fit with Krejci than Spooner. On a separate note: I'd trade you Subban for a 2nd + 3rd + Forsberg... I thought you might want a potential franchise goalie.

Not interested in the Subban trade, that's quite a bit for us to give up. About Stone, not saying the value isn't there, just saying that he's a big part of our team and to move him we'd need a 1RW + something else pretty good. We aren't gonna make deals just because we'd be getting fair value. It has to actually make sense for the team, and Stone is one of the guys we're building our team around.
Alright RAIF, doesn't look like you've managed to get any of your desired RW targets. Wanna squeak in a quick March deal? A 2019 4th and 2018 6th is all it'll take to get Yakupov.
Before quickly responding to this, make sure to review what I've already said and what my reasoning was in my previous posts on this thread, so that I won't have to repeat myself
Edit: well, obviously can't be a March deal anymore . But still, take a look to review my previous posts on this matter, and respond to my offer as soon as possible. Thanks

We're still talking to a few other teams about some other guys.
I notice that cap space has been an issue in a number of deals you're trying to negotiate. I would take Burrows' contract off your hands if you throw in 2018 4th and 2018 7th

Not looking to give up picks just to get rid of him. Also, RW is a problem for us anyway.
I would also save you 2M by doing a Burrows + pick swap for Gibbons... could likely call up a young guy to take over the 3/4 wing spot next year like Brown/White/Bowers/Batherson

Like i said, i don't want to give up a pick just to get rid of Burrows. Also not interested in Gibbons.
Ok well I wouldn't trade Hoffmann plus something for Hoffman. That wouldn't make any sense
I know, i'm just saying that's what it would take. Not saying you should do it, but there's nothing else that's gonna get you Hoffman other than a huge overpayment.
Price on Erik Karlsson....and I'm serious. Give me a price.
You don't have what it would take to get him. He's almost 100% untouchable. The only guy i'd move him straight up for is McDavid (who you don't have) and any package would have to include a younger superstar.

I give you a chance to name your price, and this is what you come back with???
So you're telling me that if I offered you...
2018 1st rd pick
2018 2nd rd pick
2 x 2019 1st rd pick
That's 3x 1st round picks plus a 2nd round pick.
I bet @HoffmanisKing would take this offer. But since you want what I don't have I'll have to take my picks and move along.
