I'm saying we don't want to go higher than a 6th and a 7th.
I respect that, but don't you think it's a little out for proportion to be demanding a 4th for Zach Mitchell, however then claiming Yakupov isn't worth a 4th and all you would pay up for him is a 6th and a 7th? In my opinion, if Mitchell is worth a 4th then Yakupov should be worth a 3rd. The talent is still in him, he just needs to find a way to use it.
You're not going to get anything of value for Mitchell, and with Burrows and Mitchell in your lineup, it depletes your bottom 6 RWs. And as far as I can see, your hunt for another winger on your third line, from Fischier to Tuch, has failed. The way I see it, Yakupov is your last option left. If you think having a guy who went through waivers IRL without anyone claiming him and a guy who has 5 points this season is going to help your bottom 6 RWs, that's fine, but your team won't benefit from it. I'm giving you a pretty bargain for Yakupov, your last option to improve your bottom 6 RW situation; if you don't want to take advantage of that, then that's fine.

Yeah, i know, i just don't know if this is the right team for him. There are other guys we're going after ahead of him though.

I'll make a bold prediction and say that you won't end up acquiring any of the guys you're after, for one simple reason: you're not willing to give up the assets teams would be looking for in order to move those guys. There's nothing wrong with that, you've done a good job of sticking with your plan and staying cautious with most of your players, and I'll actually go out and appluad you for that. However, take Fischier as an example. You weren't willing to move any of the guys it would take to acquire Fischier. Even when it came down to Batherson, you were hesitant to move him for Fischier, despite the fact that Marco had no interest in him at all.
If you're looking to upgrade your wing while not moving any of your top prospects or high picks, I doubt it's going to happen. It hasn't worked with almost all the guys you've gone after so far. Therefore, I thought you'd like to have an option to upgrade that position, while not having to give up anything of significance. I'm not asking for gold and diamonds, RAIF, I only ask for a 4th and 6th rounder. It was only 5 years ago that this guy was drafted 1st overall, and only 4 years ago that he leads rookie scoring. He's still only 23, younger than both Mitchell and Burrows, while being better than them. And he will barely cost you anything cap-wise. I'm not sure what else you'd be looking for; I believe I'm meeting your trade demands and team needs quite well for a more than decent price.

Yeah, it's just that there are a few other guys we're going after instead right now. I do think Yakupov has potential, and we might do a 4th and a 6th if none of the other deals work, but idk if i'd call him a for sure 3rd line right wing. There are a few other guys that are closer to being 3RWs.

I'll wait a few more days until it's clear whether you can get one of those guys or not, and then we can talk then. How does that sound?
Florida has interest in JG Pageau. What would you want in return?
@McJesus_ we're not interested in moving him at the moment. I mean, if we got something totally crazy, we'll do it, and you can make an offer, but as of right now, we're not interested in trading him.

Can you give me an idea of what you'd want before I make an offer?
